Short notice - Due to lack of funding Petz Club is currently closed.
The Petz Club is open to young people from 6 to 11 years of age.
The Petz Club runs on Thursdays (during School Term time)from 5.30 to 6.30pm at St.Edmunds Parish Church Hall (small hall), Larkswood Road, South Chingford (Chingford Mount), London E4 9DS. Scroll down page for the map.
On Health and Safety grounds this is not suitable environment for children requiring special supervision, suffering from asthma and known allergies to the animals
Please Note: For Insurance purposes, it is a mandatory requirement for all Pets Club members to be assisted by parent/carer when own pets are brought for the activity session.
As a member of the Petz Club you will be entitled to:
1. To interact with pets in various activities, including feeding, grooming, playing, interactive book reading, pet training, toy making.
2. To introduce own pets to the club members.
3. To meet famous people and their pets.
4. To take part in variuos competitions organised by magazines, TV, after school clubs network, animal welfare organisations.
5. To make own presentations, short films, greeting cards, stationery with favourite pets.
6. Free copies of informational magazines, leaflets, brochures, etc. about animal life and care.
7. Make regular visits to the animal shelters and rescue centres.
8. To represent club in fundraising events and presentations.
9. The opportunity to progress to a Volunteer Activity Assistant at the age of 12 years.
